2024 International Pairs Entry
As Drakensberg Gardens Golf Club grows, we are always looking at making the club champs more exciting and fun. Last year we added the inaugural Match play champs, which as we are sure you have heard, went down like a house on fire. This continues again this year and we look forward to a full field. In addition to the match play, we have decided to include the International Pairs Golf Tournament to our Club Champs and the winners will go onto a regional, to qualify for a national and then an International Final , elevating the mighty DGGC to the status it deserves. It is a better ball stableford event.
The 2024 Drakensberg Gardens Golf Club International Pairs will be played on Saturday 2nd March 2024. – 18 Hole event.
This is only available to members already entered in club champs.
How it will work:
The matchplay champs will be played on the 13th and 14th of April
Matchplay consists of the top 8 qualifiers in each division(who make themselves available) . 1st Round is on Saturday morning. Winners vs winners play in the afternoon. The losers of the 1st round will be paired together in the afternoon for an Alliance tournament (So you are guaranteed of 2 rounds – Carts are allowed in all divisions). Fiinals will be played on the Sunday morning. Prize giving will be directly after the last match is finished +- 12pm. The date for this year is Saturday 13th April – Sunday 14th April. Room rates and booking procedure will be the same as per strokeplay.
