Welcome to the first Drakensberg Gardens Golf Club newsletter!
It has been great to see the investment that Gooderson Leisure Group has made to
upgrade the golf course. This has started to bear fruit with more people now coming to play
the Club Championships and the membership growing significantly each year.

Fees-ability
We’re happy to announce that our 2011 fees for new and existing members will be a very
affordable R650/year!* The best part is: if you join now, your membership year will be
extended to include December 2011. PLUS all renewals and new memberships will be
entered into our fantastic draw to win a Callaway golf bag (pictured above) valued at R800!

Refer a friend and stand the chance of winning your 2011 membership FREE! The more
referrals, the more entries into the draw!
Enter by 17th December 2010 to qualify for both the golf bag and free membership competitions.
Please note that members have until 31st December 2010 to renew your membership.
Failure to do so will result in members losing their official handicaps.

Book NOW for Club Champs 2011
It’s almost time to tee-off together for our annual Club Championships!
Held at the picturesque Drakensberg Gardens Golf Club, the Club Championships
provide the perfect getaway opportunity.
This year's event will be held on the 5th and 6th of March 2011 and costs R330 for both rounds.
The first round kicks off on Saturday afternoon and the tournament wraps up after
round two starting Sunday morning.
As always there will be great golf and fabulous prizes up for grabs so register NOW by
contacting Desiree on 031 267 1368.
For accommodation inquiries contact Louise Felgentreu at the resort on 033 7011106 or
033 7011355 and mention that you are booking for the Club Champs - a special rate applies
to golfers who book for two nights.
